What you need to get pierced…
Valid Identification
Kapow Ink will accept the following as Valid Identification.
State issued Identification
State issued Driver's License
Military Identification Cards
Federal Identification Cards
Passports
Birth Certificate (Must be accompanied by a photo ID of any official source)
Piercing Age Requirements
Wisconsin Law SPS 221 governs body piercing in the state of Wisconsin and has certain requirements for the age at which a person may be body pierced.
Over 18 yrs of Age
A person over the age of 18 may obtain any piercing they desire. They must produce a form of Valid Identification to be pierced.
16 & 17 yrs of Age
A person who is 16 or 17 years old may be pierced with a parent parent or legal guardian present. Valid identification from both the parent/legal guardian and the minor is required. Last names and addresses on the IDs of the minor and parent need to be identical for valid proof of permissions.
Under 15 yrs of Age
A person who is 15 years of age or younger may not obtain body piercings but they are permitted by law to obtain piercings in the ear (lobe and basic cartilage piercings) with parent or guardian consent. Valid identification from the parent/legal guardian is required.
